Kabuli Chana primarily contains polyunsaturated fats which lower the bad cholesterol (LDL) in the body. They are a great source of fibre and protein. It is also a great source of iron, folate and phosphorus, again, none of which are depleted. It is also a good source of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre which helps prevent digestive disorders.

Usage
Kabuli Chana are usually boiled or roasted and go well in curries and salads. it is also made like dal with onion and tomato masala and had with rice or rotis. It is also steam cooked and sauted in variuos ways to eat it dry. Boiled chana salad with bits of cucumber, tomato and bell peppers with a dash of lime juice is also a very healthy snack.
