Whole masoor, also known as red lentil, is brown or green on the outside. Like all lentils in India, it has a high fibre content and is rich in protein. It contains potassium, calcium and B complex vitamins which help to convert our food into fuel and keep our bodies energised throughout the day.

Usage
Masoor malka daal is eaten as daal with regular tomato-onion masala tadka and can also be eaten as a soup or stew and added to meat dishes as well. It holds well unless overcooked. Concious Food's masoor dal can be used to make nutritious dals and khichdis with a variety of vegetables added to it.
